Muslim Peshmerges praying in the field, Herbijin!
I am Kurdish, from Kurdistan
Kurdista - Xem netgirê lênagerrêyn em beharet bsutênin, carêkî tir dllî sedan dayk bbirjênin!
In 8th grade they handed out papers with questions written on them.
”What’s your biggest dream?” was one of the questions
”My biggest dream is for Kurdistan to become an independent country” was my answer.
I found the paper a few weeks ago and I thought to myself, if you’re a proud Kurd, you’ve always been and you will always be because I was only 12 years on when I wrote that.
That is true Kurd ! Kurdness in blood.
Miles per Hero: When I fell in love with Kurdistan
by @BeriShalmashi
There’s this picture of me and my dad. I’m about a zero years old. The mountains in the background are high enough to scrape the sky. Dad is young. Dad is wearing Kurdish clothes. Dad is lifting me far above the ground.
Dad fled from east Kurdistan. Mom was imprisoned by the…
Before Islam..
Before Fireworshipping…
In imprisonment and in victory !!
We have always been Kurds and always will be Kurds
We Are Kurds , and always have been as such
I am Not an Arab , Not an Iranian and Not A Mountain Turk
History will sing with me
That I am a Kurd , a Kurdistani
I am not asking for anyone’s Land
I am not trespassing on Anyone’s territory
For the Rights of My Land and its People
Until I am Alive….I will fight
Even if you flatten Mount Qandeel and Mount Agiri
To the ground
You can’t force us not to be Kurds
We have always been Kurds and always will be Kurds !
I really really miss Hawler. I miss hearing the Hawleri accent ever second of the day, I miss the warm air(trust me I do), I miss bazari Qaysari and I miss the parks. But most of all I miss the citadel. The heart of Hawler.
I love these Kurds :)
