 The Dersim Poison gas attack- By Turkey Army-1938  According to Kurdish Diaspora sources, over 70,000 people were killed. Dersim Genocide is not the only genocide the Republican Turkey has committed towards Kurds. In1606 and 5 August 1611, the “fire wells” of ‘Murat Pasha the Well digger’ murdered almost 100 thousand Kurdish Kizilbash Alevis. The Halabja Poison gas attack- By Iraq Army- 16 March 1988 The attack killed 5,000 people, and injured around 7,000 to 10,000 more, most of them civilians; thousands more died of complications, diseases, and birth defects in the years after the attack. The incident, which has been officially defined as an act of genocide against the Kurdish people in Iraq, was and still remains the largest chemical weapons attack directed against a civilian-populated area in history.

Al-Anfal Campaign-offensives, aerial bombing, systematic destruction of settlements, mass deportation, firing squads, and chemical warfare By Iraq Army- 1986-1989 the campaign destroyed approximately 4,500 Kurdish villages in areas of northern Iraq and displaced at least a million of the country’s estimated 3.5 million Kurdish population. Independent sources estimate 1,100,000 to more than 2,150,000 deaths and as many as 860,000 widows and an even greater number of orphans.
