I heard rumors says Hoshyar Ali died, but then it turned out it was a lie and he good & healthy. For those who don’t know Kaka Hoshyar (Hoshyar the great) :

Hoshyar Ali : , a native of Halabja who has been clearing landmines for the past 26 years, is planning to build a museum honoring landmine victims in his hometown. “By doing this, I want future generations to know how much their people have suffered because of these notorious weapons.” Hoshyar said. Hoshyar, 48, is famous across southern Kurdistan for his work as a relentless de-miner and has dismantled nearly 2.4 million mines. “I want to make history by putting all the mines I have collected in my house in the museum,” he said. “I have a collection of every weapon used on the Kurds to put in the museum.” “I am doing this for the future generations because the future generations won’t believe something that they have not seen with their own eyes,” Hoshyar said. Hoshyar became a Peshmarga rebel fighter in 1986 at the peak of the Iran-Iraq war and the Kurdish armed struggle against Baghdad. Both warring countries planted hundreds of thousands of mine across the border, mainly in the mountains of southern Kurdistan where Halabja lies. Without prior experience on landmines, Hoshyar took to removing mines from places used by the Peshamrga. In 1986, he lost one leg to a mine in Bamo Mountain near Halabja. In 1991, he lost his other leg in another mining incident. He was badly wounded for the third time while working in a minefield. “With all these injuries and surgeries, I would have had seven graves in two cities of Iran, Kurdistan and in Japan yet I am still alive.” A Japanese NGO, Peace Winds Japan, took Ali to Japan in the 1990s where he underwent medical treatment and got two electronic prosthetic legs. Altogether Hoshyar has lived in Japan for 15 years. He admires that country and he feels he is indebted to Japan. Hoshyar said villagers come to him from across Kurdistan and ask him to clear their fields and orchards of landmines. ,Therefor people in two villages in Kurdistan have changed the name of their village to Hoshyar. A bumper sticker on the back of Hoshyar’s car reads, “For the sake of God and my country I am ready to destroy you (landmines) wherever you are.” In the early 1990s, foreign organizations poured into Kurdistan to remove landmines. Kurdish villagers whose land had been mined by Saddam Hussein’s regime were frustrated with these NOGs and blamed them for their slow work. Hoshyar intends to continue to remove landmines and building his museum. “Only two things can stop me from this work: old age and death,” he said. So I will proudly say: Hoshyar Ali a symbol of courage and unbroken determination. When in the 1980’s during the Iran-Iraq conflict, he tragically lost both his legs. After his loss, the pragmatic and inspirational man dedicated his life to eradicating land mines. He has removed and defused more than 2,386,000 land mines; cleared 540,000 km2 and evacuated 160 dead bodies from mines fields on the Iraqi-Iranian border. What a Man ! What a Hero !

kurdikurdistan:

Masuoud kanikurdayi, a Kurdish Mulla calls Parwaz Hussein a prostitute and she has no honor, he keep repeating this in a mosque in front of 500 - 600 peoples in public.

Dear Masoud, you and your bloody religion can go to hell, those 5,000 martyrs from Halabja weren’t muslim, and even if they were, they were Kurds then muslim. not like an ass-paid whore by Suadi-Al Arabi like you.

Actually he was right when he said she isn’t the only one who presented Kurds to the world, so why not write about the things he was right about too? the thing he was wrong about was calling her be axlaq because Parwaz has way more class than other Kurdish singers like Nasli. She is one of the very very few Kurdish female singers with class and respect for herself and she is a good example for future Kurdish women who want to be artists. Look at Dashni Murad’s  music video, Shiki Wawa where she is dressed as a homeless while running around saying shiki wawa which probably has no meaning at all, over and over again.

I didn’t agree with the statement “Parwaz presented Kurds to the world” too, but this Mulla’s problem is with her, although his statistics are wrong too.

I remember it was this mulla, he said European people are the stupidest ones, they work all the day like donkeys, and then spend all the money on bitches like dogs, they have no life, they have no brain. and finally he said, I also mean Kurds in europe, they are no better than them.

The conclusion is, his eyes and his ears are closed & blacked-out like most of his examples in Kurdistan, did you know in East of Kurdistan (Irani Kurdistan) there was a Mulla who called those Kurdish families who named their children Kurdish names, he called them stupid.
